Dr. Ahmed Reda Abdin

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdin is a distinguished environmental architect and planner, pioneering the field with his groundbreaking research, innovative designs, and unwavering commitment to sustainability. Key Contributions: Academic Leadership: Dr. Abdin has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of environmental education at Cairo University, establishing renowned programs & training countless professionals, Research Innovation: His work on energy efficiency, sustainable building design, and environmental impact assessment has redefined the field, Global Impact: His expertise has been sought after worldwide, with contributions to projects across Egypt and the Middle East, Institutional Development: Dr. Abdin spearheaded the establishment of the environmental laboratory at Cairo University and played a key role in founding postgraduate programs. Specially in energy efficiency & renewable energy. He supervised over 160 PHD & MSc thesis, and published over 60 research in the most pronounced scientific journals. Professional Expertise: As the founder and principal consultant of ABDIN CONSULT, Dr. Abdin has led the firm in providing comprehensive architectural, engineering, and sustainability consulting services. His expertise encompasses a wide range of areas, including architectural design, urban planning, landscape architecture, energy efficiency, green building rating and environmental studies. ABDIN CONSULT has pioneered projects in Egypt, earning recognition for its commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability.
