Project Description
Engineering Syndicate Residential
City is located in the north extension of the 6th of October city. As it’s located on the main spine
of ring road which is surrounded by other regional facilities. The new city has the advantage of
being near to sports clubs like “Shooting club, El-Ahly club ,October club. The project was
planned to complement the surrounding environment, and comprises an integral
environmental system, which respects the dynamic balance between the natural
environment and the building. The site is bordered to the north by land at the
same elevation, planned for a sporting club, and agricultural reclaimed
areas. It is located in the east zone,
at the highest elevation in Ismalia road Cairo. With the topography gently
descending in all the site. The site forms a winged shape and is surrounded by
3 roads from the north, west and south.
The site is behind the new cities Sherouk and ElObur around which
all-regional activities are located. The climatology data has been analyzed and
the respected effects on the project were calculated. The school education
program necessitates the construction of each activity in order to cover the
main educational field. Nefartari schools are located on the
Cairo–Ismailia road, approximately 5 kilometers from Cairo. The school
buildings are designed to enhance the educational environment and develop a
sense of belonging in the students. The schools include advanced laboratories
and special facilities aimed at developing students' capabilities. The school
buildings are designed to utilize the climatic forces in day lighting and to
provide a comfortable thermal environment. All buildings enjoy natural air
conditioning utilizing courts, air catches and atrium.The buildings provide
facilities for the Egyptian foreign language syllabus, IGCSE and the American
Diploma. The school integrates a nursery stage with 12 classes distributed over
3 floors. The nursery provides space for special activities, a theater,
teachers' rooms and administration staff. The building is designed to be
separate from the older students but enjoys the supervision of the school's
General Director and higher administration staff. The elementary stage
(primary) consists of 24 classes, educational staff rooms, administration and
services in a 4-storey building. The preparatory and secondary stages (senior students)
consist of 24 classrooms as well educational staff rooms, administration
offices and services.The IGCSE section has 6 classes and the American Diploma
has another 6. The technical facilities of the schools are grouped in a
building centrally located in the complex. This building comprises 6
laboratories for chemistry, physics and biology, 2 libraries (junior and
senior), 2 activity rooms, art room and music room. It also includes a clinic,
workshop, 3 computer laboratories, video room, print shop, storage rooms,
refectory and other services. The higher administration building consists of 2
stories designed around an atrium. The ground floor includes reception,
visitors' lounge, exhibition area, public relations office and the financial
section. The first floor has the offices of the General Director, Deputy
Director and senior educational staff. The theater is adjacent to this building
and is located in the center of the school. The schools have a large sports
area, with a football pitch, handball court, 2 basketball courts, 2 volleyball
courts, 2 tennis courts, a small swimming pool and a small gymnasium with
changing rooms.
